Registration rejected

If your registration was rejected, check the explanation of the reason, available both in the app and in the rejection email sent to you. Following these guidelines will increase your chances of approval and allow you to join the community.

If the rejection reason mentions duplicate account, it means we found a registration with information very similar to what you provided, indicating that you already have an account on Umatch.

In this case, you can choose one of two options:

Go back to using your old account

To continue with the old account, simply log in using the email registered to it.

If you forgot your password, tap Forgot password on the login screen, just below the password field, and follow the instructions to reset it.

Delete the old account to create a new one

If you prefer to start from scratch with a new account, you will first need to delete the old account.

To do this:

  • Log in to the old account.
  • Go to the Settings tab.
  • Tap Delete account

Remember: deleting your old account will permanently remove all data, including matches, conversations, and profile information.
