What does it mean to pause the account?
When you pause your account:
Your profile will no longer be displayed to new users on the discovery screen.
You will not receive new matches while paused.
All your conversations, matches, photos, and profile information remain saved.
Your current matches can still chat with you normally.
So, you can rest, focus on other things, or enjoy a special connection without losing your history.
And if you feel it's time to come back, just reactivate the account in the app and everything will be as before.
